Continuing Education For Financial Services Professionals

Over a quarter of a million adults participate in continuing education annually. The term, ‘continuing education’, describes the process and opportunity to learn new skills and acquire knowledge beyond what is taught in our formal schooling years. Their reasons for participation are diverse, but the greatest common denominator shared by these individuals is the link that continuing education helps them to improve their job skill sets, assist in achieving career advancements and add enrichment to their lives.
 
In the Financial Services industry, it is mandatory for all registered securities and commodities sales agents to attend periodic continuing education classes to maintain their licenses. This is also true to for those holding professional designations such as:
