Israel Securities Authority was established to protect the affairs of the securities investing public: The ISA:
- Grant permits to publish prospectuses
- Regulate and supervise the mutual fund industry’s activities.
- Monitor the correct and fair management of the stock exchange.
- Licensing of portfolio managers and investment advisors, supervising the performance of their obligations and handling of disciplinary violations.
- Conducts investigations into violations of the Securities Law, the Joint Investment Trusts Law, the Regulation of Engagement in Investment Counseling and Portfolio Management Law, and violations of other laws that include violations of these laws.
Israel Securities Authority was established pursuant to the Securities Law, and its function is to protect the affairs of the securities investing public, as determined in the law.
